I don’t think there is anyone out there who doesn’t enjoy nature in some form or another. (Some more than others, of course; I went camping once and discovered it involved 100 percent too many spiders). Whether it’s a hiking hobby; eating lunch in that beautiful park near your work; enjoying a gorgeous oceanfront view during your hotel stay; enjoying a beautiful flower arrangement on your dining table; the list goes on. The point: the beauty of nature has much to offer us.

This is not a new concept for designers. Colors, shapes, materials, and patterns: the possibilities are limitless when you use Mother Nature as your own personal Pinterest board. Translating nature into wallcovering is one of the things York Wallcoverings specializes in. There’s the literal interpretation, like the Natural Leaves pattern made with genuine magnolia leaves and fibers using a special process that eliminates the pulp of the leaves while preserving the lacy veins of the foliage; the more glamorous sparkle of Terra Mica; or the sophisticated sparkle of the Flashy Woven design made with natural grasscloth.

Lucky for me, I can skip camping and still find ways to enjoy the outdoors!  When the fusion of nature and artistry occurs truly wondrous designs, like these wallcoverings, are born. If you’re feeling inspired and want to see more of these nature-inspired designs from York, let us know!
